What we are
OOZEWP is a Union representing Prague-based EW employees. It means both from flight deck and cabin crew, and from both classic PRG and Wings Pattern types of employment.
OOZEWP was established in summer 2022, the main goal has been to improve conditions for both our cockpit and cabin colleagues. In the meantime, we managed to lay groundworks for new collective agreement with the company, which is currently being finalized. It's very important to have as many colleagues on board as possible, to have enough input from PRG workers to pass on to the company, we hold meetings with the company every month about actual and long term unresolved topics and problems/suggestions of employees.
Membership fees are used to run the organization administratively and are 1% of your net salary, 30 % from this goes to our mother unions OSPLD which provides us with legal support and some administrative services. We also contribute to the Multisport benefit card, please see details in Benefits section.
CLA
Collective Agreement, although agreed on in June 2023, is still not signed and therefore cannot be published in full. You can, however, find the Key Facts Sheet in Flybase (FBBA) already.
If you are new to the company, we also have a presentation with the new valid conditions. Just write us and we will share it with you. Apart from basic salary increment (approx. 20 % for Cabin Crew, 35 % for FO and 45 % for Captains in comparison to the starting conditions in Prague), 10% variable salary increment and extra monthly allowances - it also includes scheduling rules, stby and flight time limitations etc.
Although the CLA is valid for another 1,5 year, In approximately half a year from now we shall already start shaping new ideas and topics for negotiations - we rely deeply on your support.
This would not be possible without having majority of the base involved. By being members of the Unions, you have direct impact on the agenda!
Eurowings and Lufthansa group relations
As part of a company with bases in various European countries, we as Unions also exchange experiences and views on different topics.
There is a common representation of pilots' unions from all our bases that is addressing certain topics to the company together. Last meeting held was in November 2024 and was two days long. Various topics were targeted there and will be discussed step by step with company.
As an example current topics are FDM (Flight data monitoring) in the cockpit and common standards for Hotel accomodation.
Apart from contact with our colleagues from EWL we also actively participate in regular meetings of LHGC- Lufthansa Group Council. This group gathers cabin representatives from all the companies that are part of Lufthansa Group. These exchanges are very beneficial with regards to keeping us in the picture, sharing experience as well as current challenges and are inspirational when it comes to possible solutions. Latest meeting was taking place in Munich on 28-29 November 2024.
